Real names fix for 8.0.1?

I've installed the 8.0.1 patch but now the German national team is back to fake players again. I tried downloading the real names fix again but dont know how to install it for the 8.0.1 version. please help.

all new patches and data uptades come with a brand new LNC folder to ensure you have the crappy fake names in your game.. so delete the whole LNC folder, and wait until the first international fixture..


it might take some time, until the second international fixture in some cases though..

Hey, sorry for hijacking the thread, just seemed appropriate to ask this here, can someone direct me to where i can download the file to correct all the league names in the game?

try www.sortitoutsi.net, that's where i usually go to to get my fixes. if it isnt in the downloads section, try the forum, always plenty there.

Yeah i do frequent there quite often for most of my editing needs and have looked and posted there but no replies as of yet. Just not sure what to use as the search terms to use and since i only have the internet on my n73 it becomes quite a laborious task looking for it. So if anyone does know the precise location where i can find it could you post it here for me please? Ta.

Meh, I tried the Susie fix. It worked for the 8.0.0 version, but it doesn't seem to work for the 8.0.1. patch. :(

Yes well, but that doesn't get the competition names fixed. It only fixes the fake German NT players.

Maybe SI knew about that file and they blocked it. Delete LNC, remove unwanted stuff from the FIX file keeping only the competition name changes and rename that file. I'm SURE this'll work... has to

I asked this at Susie and got this response:
youve got to place the file in 801 not 800. you can find that by clicking 'updates' not the 'db' file. pm me if your struggling mate. ill try to help.

EDIT: yes, it seems that was the problem. Works fine now. :)
