They probably play some of the best attacking football in the world right now and its not boring. So if real madrid plays boring then show me who plays better attacking football than them. By the way i didnt say real play great football as in defense and attackin only attacking lol but they are the most entertaining at it expecially carlos.

Real Madrid vs. Partizan Belgrade [P & R]

I guess it's just me then? Hmm, well todays game was a snoozefest, as is every game I see them play lately. Maybe it has less to do with them, and more to do with who they play in the Champions league. The are usually playing teams way lower than they are and just look bored. I think the most exciting game I saw them play in the last year was against AEK Athens last year when AEK kept coming back to tie the game.
Yeah, that's why he didn't deserve the loss on an offsides goal.
But Footballhell is right that they play good attacking offense, but I don't need to see guys like Figo flopping all the time trying to get calls. I would rather watch an English league game that goes at full blast. Well, actually, I am a Deportivo fan, so give me them over Real any day.
By variety, you mean kick and chase English football? Real Madrid are a class team. You wanna know why Partizan couldnt attack? Because Real Madrid knows how to hold possession. The only time Real lose possession is when they want to. You call that boring, Winners call that genius.

The reason Partizan couldn't attack was because they were afraid to. If you attack Real, they have a hard time. Read the post match quotes from Lothar Mathaus. But Real are good at holding possesion. I wouldjust expect a team like Partizan to go balls out and give it everything they had, no mater how many goals they gave up.
I saw this game today and Partizan played all defense but i think that is not an excuse for RM,they really played bad today, the only two acceptable players were R Carlos and Becks,the rest was bad.

Anyway, you do realize that GD is pretty important in the CL right. If they ended up with 7 points as well as lets say Marseille, Those 4 goals that they might have given up to Madrid by playing "balls out" would put them out the tourney. These teams are not stupid, they know when they actually have a shot at winning, and away to Real Madrid is not one of those times.

This game was on tv where i am, and i was hoping that if there was not a close game, there would be lotsa goals (like Barca's great 8 last week, it was sweet to watch) Even the goal in this one was no shiner. I almost feel asleep watching this one, and this game had Becks, Ronaldo, and the lot all playin here.but this game does not help the phrase "This game is boring, there is not enough goals in soccer" that anti fans tend to say over here.
Even worse, NO TARIBO WEST, damn you ESPN, why not show Chelsi vs Lazio or Rangers vs Man U.

people got to accept that each team has good days and bad days, this was their bad, even though they won.

My point is, at the end of the day, or the group games, those 3 points will most likely make a difference or whatever, and not whether Real won 1-0 or not, which Savo's making a big deal out of...sure.....Real were ineffective......every team has days like these...and judging from the stats, the Partizan keeper must have done a good job
