solaimaa said:don't even get me f***ing started, you know damn well what i'm talking about. madrid and chelsea have become notorious for throwing their money around. yes, we payed a lot for ronaldhino, but we don't have an endless pot of gold sitting in our backyard.
and no, money does not get you success. hard work and determination gets you success. money certainly helps, but money alone does not get you crap. which is percisely where my resentment for clubs like madrid and chelsea comes from.
solaimaa said:your sig, which indicates that you're a chelsea and real madrid fan, must mean that you're a fan of clubs with money. i hate people like you. if for no other reason, barca should win to teach people like you a lesson: the lesson the money does not buy success.
Dream Team said:What Barça paid for Ronaldinho is nothing compared with his value now. Barça didn't overpay for him. He was a great investment, maybe the best one of that summer.
Same with Eto'o, pichichi, and Deco, superclass.
Barça have not wasted the money in the last 2 years, that's why Barça are leading La Liga. If you look at the list of players called up for the Madrid-Barça match, there are 9 homegrown players (10 if we count Damià) and 8 foreigners. There aren't a lot of top clubs that can say that.
Well, you say Barça paid a lot of money for Ronaldinho, Deco and Eto'o. With the money that Real Madrid paid for Zidane(€84m) Barça bought the three (30+20+26) and still have 8 millions to buy.. Giuly(6m) for example.Raikkonen said:but you have spend more money than us in the last seasons you're not exactly 'poor' compared to Chelsea or Real Madrid, like solaimaa said

When Real Madrid dismiss Milito (€5m) and next year Florentino buys Woodgate injured for €20m, they're throwing their money around. When Florentino buys Owen when he has Morientes, he's throwing his money around.
I really don't care if Real Madrid is richer than Barça. Real Madrid income is €300m and Barça only €200m. Real Madrid generates more money and I don't have anything against that. What it's obvious is that they spend the money in a different way. This summer Barça will spend much less money than Real Madrid.

In Spain the match is on PPV(Digital+ or cable)
Raikkonen said:: and that's coming from a Barcelona 'fan' registered in December... gloryhunter :boohoo:
You forgot Flavio Conceiçao €30m, Anelka €30m, Munitis €12m,.. more than 80% of your players costed more than €20mRaikkonen said:in $$$
Figo, Zidane, Owen, Ronaldo, Beckham, Woodgate, Samuel, Gravesen < Ronaldinho, Overmars, Deco, Marquez, Edmilson, Larsson, Saviola, Riquelme, Geovanni, Rochemback, Quaresma, Simao, Bonano, Silvinho, Maxi Lopez...
24 yr old Owen (12m + a ****ty bencher) > 28 yr old Morientes (10m). the only one damaged with the deal was Morientes. It was a great deal for Real Madrid.
Madrid has more incomes, but has to pay higher wages.
Barcelona will spend more money this summer because they don't need to renew their team.
and they are no 'ifs' in my analisis

Bonano and Larsson came for free and Sylvinho costed €2m, what kind of comparison is that?
Yes, it's much better to get money from a corrupt city government than from a billionaire who made his money in the oil-industry. At least the "bored douchebag" is helping out the poor people in the region of which he is the governor. To Perez's credit, at least he looks out for the caucasian people.Raikkonen said:first, our money doesn't come from a bored douchebag who was looking for a hobby,
What is your concept of earning money? Whoring yourself to racists?we have earned that money.
I won't. They are one leg into the semi-finals, have won the League Cup and are 11 points clear of Arsenal while Madrid are 9 points behind Barca and were kicked out of the Champions League by Juventus in the 2nd round.don't compare us to Chelsea, please.
