what new team ? Mourinho bought only garbage players and after he realised it he sent on the pitch a team almost identicaly with that of Pellegrini.

Youth Team
by that I meant they're worse than Real Madrid already had, unnecessary waste of money . I would be surprised if at least one of them will confirm their huge transfer fees, apart from Carvalho which I think is a good aquisition and he came with few money.

seriously, no offence but do you guys really suck so bad ?
I actually miss Real being a major force in the world. Poor in the champions League, poor in la liga.
i know its Jose's first game and alot of new players will take time to gel...but these are world class players we talk about...and all sucked copper balls...

I really feel sorry for the likes of van der vaart, ozil, benzema ,di maria who are all out to waste their lives here...
better play more players from the youth system and build a team based on the real Spanish madrid...

What Ozil said:

October 14th 2009: “I have been a fan of Barcelona ever since I was a little boy. I can’t describe what it is, but the team just fascinates me. They have always had world-class players such as Rivaldo and Figo in their team. Nevertheless, Barcelona are not an option for me at the moment. Wearing the Barca jersey is a dream, but I still have a lot to learn and I have to work hard before I’m ready for it. Bayern Munich is not an option for me. I don’t even think about something like that at the moment.”

August 17th 2010: Ozil signs for Real Madrid.

August 18th 2010:I always wanted to play for the best team in the world, and Real Madrid is it. Nothing had been decided before yesterday and I can honestly say I am glad this has had a happy ending. I only aspire to make progress at Real Madrid. This is a great challenge for me. I’ve always concentrated hard and I like to work hard. I stepped on fifth gear and reached the club for which I wanted to play. Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I discussed several options with my advisors, but I wanted to come here because I wanted to work with Mourinho, the best coach in the world. I spoke with him and he convinced me to come. What we said will remain between us, but he is the greatest reason for which I’m here today. The best teams play in Spain and the best in the world is Real Madrid.”

:D

Ya that guy is a fag..
I even read sometime back before he signed for madrid that even man united and chelsea were his childhood dreamclubs...
it would have been time ...a little bit more...before he would have said that even Portsmouth was his fav childhood club :browsmiley:

They had a more balanced team. Its definitely better than last season.
was watching Revista de La Liga yesterday, and Guillem Balague had an interesting point to make:

I thought, because Mourinho said, that Mesut and Sami weren't integrated enough into the team, the language, and the system, to be in contention for starting spots just yet ...

but Balague thinks that Mourinho, after his problems with Muntari last year, decided to leave out all the Muslim players (the two new Germans, plus Coco, and Mamadou) coz it is Ramzaan right now :browsmiley: ...

I don't think that fully fits, coz apart from José talking about the new arrivals, he's also been critical of Benzema, while Diarra has looked more on the way out of the club than back into the starting XI ... still, it is not a bad theory, and worth keeping in mind when talking about José and the complex workings of his mind ...

Could be true. I have to say though, Madridistas shouldn't be too worried. One or way or another, it's going to come for you.

I don't think they'll feel too comfortable until the wins start coming. Madridistas have seen a lot of managers come in with a lot of promise and not deliver. Mourinho shouldn't fall into that, but nobody (level-headed) in Spain is taking his success for granted.

Why the **** do Spurs want van der Vaart anyway? He's a good player, sure, but so is Luka Modric.

Well there going to have to get used to playing 4-5-1 in Europe.

something like this I guess?

Lennon-- Palacios -- Van Der Vaart-- Bale

----------------Modric------------------

or maybe

Lennon - van der Vaart - Huddlestone - Modric - Bale

Yeah, but Palacios and Huddlestone both seem to be automatics. And I really don't like the idea of both Luka and Raffie in the same midfield unless one is on the wing. Of course Bale and Lennon seem undroppable too.

Huddlestone and Palacios are alternates, not automatics. Perhaps in Europe.

Assuming Harry goes defensive, I'm betting on:

Crouch/Defoe
Vaart
Modric - Palacios - Huddlestone - Lennon

With Bale as fullback, or Keane instead of Vaart with Modric going inside and Keane and Lennon on the wings.
