Don't hope :D. He will do that and he already took the first step doing that; he reminded the guys on the post-match interview that "this is a small but important step forward". Also, if you read player's reactions, you see that all of them are aware that the race for the title hasn't ended yet. But now, everyone knows that we are the big favorites.

No. I haven't seen any of us, at least here, that has said 'congratulations for the title' or stuffs like that. Personally, I have said that prior to the match as well. There are 7 more games; very tough ones for the both teams. But now, moral is very high in our camp, while Madrid has taken a big blow and having in mind what happened last season, they'll most probably drop points in the coming matches.

You're not saying you won the league but from some previous posts, I have the feeling that you are claiming it already indirectly (not only you). Anyway I think that probably due to bad choice of words. No worries. I got what you guys meant.

Dude the title was already decided before El Clasico. I can almost guarantee that Real Madrid defence will have a "confidence meltdown" for the remaining games. They certainly did after that match. Just watch the replay and Albiol's face after Messi scored the first goal and after Pedrito scored the second.

If you believe that albiol is weak minded and will not be determined in the next games then you are wrong. He's a professional player. Sure he would've been devastated to lose to the biggest rival for the title, but it don't mean that he'll be completely useless. Sure we might concede some goals, but I can guaratee we'll win atleast 5 of our remaining games.

Alright Madristas it's ON!!!

:sKIp_E:

250m Euros later, and still one point behind. Such a shame...:innocent_smile_1:

BTW,

Seriously its gonna go down to the wire and I predict its gonna be a exciting end to a great competition. Hopefully we are crowned champions:bob:

But hey atleast you beat our record points from last year:blush:

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
Honestly, I would pay to see his reaction, and those involved in their sale, after hearing that both of them are in the final with a possibility of one of them winning it. Not to mention the fact that they have both been essential to each teams success in getting there.

I don't blame Madrid for selling Robben. He was kind of an odd piece to fit into Madrid's puzzle and they always seemed to play better without him. Sneijder was a stupid move though, at least with the way Kaka has performed.

Robben was a bad sale for me, no matter how you slice it....Sneijder has been good with Inter but IMO Robben has been out of this world....and during our pre-season he was showing his worth by the buckets....

The Von Trapps
well, it was a difficult one to have foreseen ... if you had kept him, you guys could easily have been playing a 4-2-3-1 with Robben and Cristiano causing havoc from each flank, and swapping sides just to throw more cats amongst the pigeons ... but Robben is very injury-prone, and it is always more of a gamble keeping him than selling him ... Bayern took the gamble because they needed to more than you guys -- you clearly had enough cash to cover whatever positions you needed to ... but as it turned out, Ricky Kaká's season was destroyed by his injury, Cristiano missed a few games in the early part of the season with injury, Benz has had his share of injury problems too, while Robben's injury situation has been minor ... that is luck / fate / providence / whatever you want to call it ...

also, there is the psychological aspect ... at Bayern, he is one of the biggest stars in the squad, unlikely to be overshadowed, under a Dutch manager who he could be comfortable speaking his own language with, in a country closer to home ... and in addition to that, he had a point to prove after taking a step away from the big-time of Real Madrid, which can be a huge motivating factor for those who embrace in a constructive spirit ... all those things would have been missing if he had stayed ...

similar story with Sneijder about motivation ... it was a real slap in the face to Sneijder for Real Madrid to get a Golden-Ball-winning attacking midfielder, and deem Sneijder surplus; he too had a point to prove ...

as a fan of the Dutch national team, I am very pleased about it, and hope they can carry that impetus into the World Cup ... but if I were looking at it from a Real Madrid fan's point of view, I'd be patient, and wait to see what your new recuits can do when fully fit, and see if Robben and Sneijder can keep up their level of motivation next season too ... unfortunately you guys have a very fickle president in charge, and I don't think he knows much about patience; so it would be no surprise to see some kneejerk reactions if you guys finish this season trophyless ...

Just because he did well for Bayern doesn't mean he would have done well for Madrid. I think part of his success has been from being the star of the team. That would not have been the case in Madrid.

Same thing was happening for Henry in Arsenal before coming to barça and also Ibra in Inter. They were the stars of the team. That's why they can't be as good as they were in the previous teams. People rarely understand those facts.
