also, Sneijder should be ready for Espanyol this weekend

F*ck Mourinho! What Schuster is doing with a constantly injured team is more than impressive. The guy never had the chance to play his favourite line-up. He always has 5/6 injuries. Especially in defense and midfield! I have total respect for the man. I hope he stays for many years!KingPaulV;2495419 said:seen reports in a couple sites that Madrid are throwing Mourihno a rope...apparently after the debacle in the CL Calderon wants a new coach, as most people atribute our failure to a tactical defeat more than anything...I tend to agree that our tactical plan for the game was horrible, although I believe Schuster deserves more time....

newbie original;2496005 said:Fabio Capello.....ALWAYS an :drevil:interim:drevil: coach? I guess only you guys can explain the real reasoning behind that!
Socrates;2496193 said:Well yes it's quite simple, as Pedja said we had a long term project here and Capello was not hte man for the job. We were getting players who would make the team in the next 4-5 season with the right coach and eventually the right style as well. There is no doubt that our play has been much better this year and it's just the start of this long term project with Mr. Schuster and we have the players for it already in most position, just some areas need to be buffed up some more.
Hmm kind of strange no one posted about the game? I guess we were all working eh? Anyway I missed this one as I was at work but we won 2-1, goals by Higuan (!) and Raul. Higuan scored/hit off his knee it looked like after a very nice play by Marcelo. Should give both the young ones some confidence. I won't post much else as I did not see the game so I can't comment much.
Oh and Raul got his 200th liga goal
