It was a nice match i'd say. Missed the first 20 minutes but i'm not complaining. Barca look kind of frustrated/lazy after the last few bad results.
I'm actually quite suprised that Bale has settled into the Real squad so well, in the beginning he was a bit raw, but yet again he had no preseason plus it's a a new league, culture and everything for him.
Recently I read that he's got more goals and assists this season than he did during his best season in Spurs (last one), but of course it's a bit easier when you've got so many quality players arond you. Considering the fact that British players haven't done well in Spain (mostly), Bale has exceeded all expectations in my opinion. Taking into account how much he cost. Obviously he's a fantastic player and it was just a matter of time before he started doing well. Didn't take too long to be honest, but he could have flopped in Spain especially with that pricetag on him.
Also it was nice to see Ronaldo being genuinely happy for him when he scored that goal which turned out to be the winner. I don't really want to bring Barca into this, but when compared to Neymar, Bale has been superior so far throughout the season. He isn't their main or number one star player either, like with Messi/Ronaldo are for their team, but he has managed to fit into their squad a lot better. Probably has a lot to do with the fact that his playing style suits them better.
