ome bad things are the ps2 menus without mouse support and the sorta half-done sideline grafix.
regarding the slow done.. i had that problem first, but now after bout 20 games its gone! marvelous innit? first i thought i had just got used to it but on a second look it was actually gone!

Playing at 1024x768 with high detail and Quincunx Antialiasing the graphics where superb, far and beyond that of the ps2. Gamplay seems a little faster than the ps2 version although somehow i think i prefer the ante upped a little. Control system is perfect and allows for those moments of magic when u pull off something from sky sports. Roll on the release date so we can get our hands on the real thing and hopefully there will be the hardcore element who will develop lots of little goodies for our gaming needs. New stadiums, balls, official strips, badges, leagues even!! All depends on if the game gets the attention it deserves but i for one would be downloading all the little add-ons i could get.

No problems with the controls what so ever
But I’ll be getting a joy pad because sometime you need to use more buttons and the same time and that's not so great on keyboard :P
Gfx are very nice with some nice details although ye the sideline looks kinda crappy but that's not where I play soccer anyway :P
And the game runs smooth in 1280*1024 with high details & widecam (Sometime when you see the ref running to give you a card it can slow down a little but never ingame! so with that yeah ingame runs super and that's what matters)

Geforce 4 TI4200 64Ddr ram
HDD Space 60gigs free

I have more or less the same spec as you (amd xp 2000+ , 512 MB DDR, and GF4 TI 4200 128 M
. But somehow my game ran like a turtle if I change the resolution to 1280-1024. Guess i have to stick with 1024x768 then..Dragoncity2002

Btw just tried the game in window mode 1024*768
For some reason it did not run as smooth as in full screen 1280*1024 but it felt better somehow :P don't know why but it just did :]
So if you want try it in window and see if it's better for you?!

never played a pes game before & I'm very Impressed, good gameplay. I also like the way that nothing is scripted, after 25 matches I still haven't seen a same goal ( in fifa I saw it 2 same goals in 1 match)
I also had problems with the game slowing down, but it was easy to solve for me, if you put the accelartion from your sound to slow in directx, my problem was solven & I could Play smootly on 1280x1O24. Before that I even couldn't get a decend speed on 640x480

Depends I guess as I got Geforce TI 4200 64Ddr ram and I run the game in full screen 1280*1024 with 55-60fps ingame (can't get higher then 60fps! I believe it's because the fps locks) and a little lower in ref screens etc.
But I now play in window 1024*768 when my desktop is 1280*1024 and I really like it this way, the game still runs super 60fps with np at all! And I can use my desktop (IRC & ICQ etc)

I´m running athlon 750mhz 133sdram, geforce 3 ti200,win98se latest drivers,directx 8.1.
At first I got alot of slowdown then I disabled vsync etc etc, running game at 1024*768 medium no problems, altho its still too fast usually, but its ok.
So I doubt its about the speed of the comp that causes trouble for so many:/
