Rangers have confirmed the signing of Frank de Boer, according to Sky Sports News, but only until the end of the season.
As revealed on Monday morning, the Dutch defender has been in Glasgow trying to finalise a move to Ibrox, and The Gers have managed to wrap up negotiations swiftly.
It means the former Ajax star will be reunited with twin brother Ronald, who is out of contract this summer and pondering a lucrative move to the Middle East.
De Boer was unhappy in Turkey with Galatasaray and has clinched a short-term deal to link up with Ronald for the third time in his career after the duo also appeared together for Ajax and Barcelona.
The 33-year-old centre back has joined Alex McLeish's men and the Rangers boss will probably be hoping that both players remain in his plans next season.
