Uhm, excuse the noob, but how do I use the 512 pixel boots? I am using CM13.

I imported them (pic + bump + reflex) manually with CM13, and they look fine in the preview, but they do not show up in-game. Instead of those 512 pixel boots, I get the generic black-white boots...

use rx3 master to import 512x512 texture boot. You also need a 2gk template for it. Open the 2gk template with rx3 master and import all the textures.

I did everything mentioned in the link:

- imported the 3 images in the 2gk template
- saved the rx3
- placed it in data/sceneassets/shoe (overwriting a random boot -> 211 )
- regenerated BH

Still not working.

I don't know if this is relevant or not but .. I have re-enabled the "error messages" in CM13, and it gives me this error for ALL boots.

"Cannot find the following file in a zdata archive. Remember to load it or it will appear as a missing texture in the game.
data/sceneassets/shoe/shoe_XX_textures.rx3"

Also, I haven't done all these things on a "clean" install. I have FERL (http://fifa-evolution.blogspot.ro/2012/12/ferl-fifa-evolution-romanian-league.html) installed over.

Bottom line, I'm either missing a simple step here.. or my game is "bugged" and requires a reinstallation.

What do you think?

Edit: I could do this the "easy" way via Revolution mod or Moddingway, but I don't like the "player-boot-assigning" system they're using. It would be nice if I could just get the files (rx3's) in the game and be able to assign them to players via CM13. That's all I want, to add a few new (512p) boots to the game.. preferably in those slots that are normally occupied by "clones".

Currently it seems I'm failing at getting the (new) files in the game... or at least at getting the game to read them.

Another approach.. in that "How to" thread, regularcat mentioned something about deleting (language) files (from the ".big") after exporting and placing them in another folder - so that the game can read them from the folder instead of the .big file. I thought it might work like that for rx3's as well, so I gave it a shot:

1) Exporte all "shoe rx3's" from data3.big to the data/sceneassets/shoe folder ->
2) delete the rx3's from data3.big ->
3) replace "old" rx3's with "new" ones (in the folder) ->
4) regenerate BH.

Sounded like a good idea.. got stuck at step #2 because FileMaster refuses to delete them, for some reason. Assuming I could eventually delete them, is this method even feasible?

Guys, do you know where I could find the CTR maestri II's? I know a lot of people made them for fifa 12 but The boot never looked right when I use the ea CTR model with the textures (the swoosh on the top of the boot gets deformed)

ok bro, dont panick. I think you are messed up...
Uninstall your fifa. Delete the registry. Now install FIFA 13 in another other directory than c.

I hope you have properly installed the cm12 and paste the cm13 files.
Then open fifa with cm13.
Select the boot button, browse for the specific boot. Import the 2gk rx3 file.
And its done.
Never import 3d models with cm. :p

The model from Fifa 12 is far better than the old one from Fifa 11 so I went for that. I think you should move to Fifa 12/13, big improvements in terms of models and graphics aswell.

Thanks. The polygon count on the model is not good and the shape is a little different that`s why it gets deformed. I was thinking of making the set on the new model but gave up, may be I`ll try that if I get time.

Sorry, I`ll try to improve my tutorial when I make one again, maybe for Fifa 14.:innocent_smile_1:

Creation Master has a lot of features like import/export of rx3 and textures, 3d model preview, db editing etc., which adds a lot of code to the program so you get some bugs/errors while using it. Rinaldo did a great job but its not a perfect tool for modding Fifa.

There are a lot of other tools, you have to learn to use them, if you really want to mod Fifa. I use Rx3 Master for textures as its easy to load and use.
For import/export of rx3 files I use File Master 12 (bulk export). You can just copy paste the file to its respective folder for import, you don`t need CM for that. For db editing and id`s CM is useful as its GUI based unlike Db Master.

RevMod is a use full addon to the tools we have, for example, you can assign random set of boots to a player or random Gk kits etc., which is not possible with CM. You should try it, its a must have addon for Fifa modding.

No, I mean the Kappa boot model. Like I said, I need to find images to make it properly. I only have a few image links in the request, even he does not know which Kappa boot model this is, I think he saw and took pics on his cellphone from a boot store he recently visited.
