r3 on keyboard

ok i tried r3 on keyboard but it is not working i tried assgning it to diffrent keys
so does it work on keyboard ?

I play it on the keyboard, I hate using gamepads, for some reason I always have trouble using the directions on it. In driving games I swerve all over the place.

R3 depends on which settings you select in the button config screen. If it is left to default, pressing R3 is only for manual passing and those quick free quicks involving a second player.

i have a sidewinder which doesnt have enough buttons, so I dont have L3 or R3

but you can change it in controls to manual passing (no 2) without pressing R3

I played on keyboard all my life. I bought a PS2 converter today and haven't played PS2 in several months. It felt so stupid... I couldn't control the directions and the buttons was so not for me...

I play on keyboard using 19 keys, and I prefer it to joypads because it is more precise in directions.

My configuration is the following.

s --> X
d --> square
a --> circle
w --> triangle
q --> L1
e --> R1
z --> L2
space --> R2
CTRL (Right) --> R3 left
0 (numeric keyboard) --> R3 right
End --> R3 Down
Home --> R3 Up
. (numeric keyboard) --> R3 press
the 4 directional keys
F1 --> start
F2 --> select

My advice is to move R3 press to an easier-to-reach key with the left hand, like Alt or Ctrl or Shift, so you can perform Manual Pass (I usually use it only for touching the ball on free kicks).

Aniway, with my configuration is (quite) easy to make lobs (R3 Down/Up), feints (double press on the various R3 directions) and the 360° move (End - 0). It's also easy to use super cancel (e + space)

Try it and tell me.

Boo Goose lol. I use gamepad but dont think all us gamepad users are the same as goose. hes just frustrated that he cant get a bird.

I have like that to but R2 as shift and I don't have R3 instead I have only the two buttons that make me able to make 360

Well, I played fifa up to the 98 version, I think. The standard keys are taken from it (a-s-d-...). Anyway, I think this configuration is very good at all; I don't like the passing on the X key.

The only think I think is bad with control (PS2) is when using arrows the fingers huirt after a while and using analog thing it's not precisely as the keyboard. It's harder to dribble with PS2 control, easier to chip tho.
