Question about modding, patching, and keeping up with transfers/loans

So, after browsing through the forums, I have found that it is best to have a fresh copy of FIFA07 if you are trying to mod. If you install the official patch from EA (updated transfers), the mod programs (creation master, etc.) will not work. But it looks like most on here do use the mods. So, my question is, how do you keep up with all the player transfers? I can keep up with my favorite teams but there are so many others in the game and so many transfers/loans that have happened since the game has been released...

so, is there any utility out there that can help, or do i have to manually set all transfers...

If you go online wiht your FIFA I think that you can download updates for the team squads after transfers and loans.
