So! How is the A.I. in the final game? Is it still attacking through the middle all the time or???? Can you feel the difference between teams/tactics????

i have gamecube version and they attack in all different ways, fifa 04 rocks 
they attack only thru the middle.... had the game for a week, played it q a lot. i have seen he CPU AI shoot from range just twice. TWICE in a week! playing agst the CPU is a sure thing to make you lose ur temper as teir goals are basically all the same, unless they convert a free kick or corner. this is on PS2, and i cant see how this changes from console to PS2. rent the game, dont buy it, it is not worth ur money.

I am going to play the cd version of the game right now and let you guys know how it is for some of you still waiting. Yeah I mean read some reviews from us here and probably rent it b4 buying it.
If I had a game I would say it rocks! too.

DUDE, ur not gonna buy the game just because they attack through the middle, cmon man, whats ur problem, have a better reason to not buy the game. OK, this is one bad thing but how many good things r there about this year's FIFA? Alot more than the bad things i can tell u that.

Well I've played the PS2 version quite a bit and what I found is quite troubling...
Not only does the CPU attack up the middle... but it's always the SAME attack!! Incredibly repetitive!! 1,2,3 passes and a one-time shot from 10 yards out!!! EVERYTIME!!!
I've already commented on this in a few other posts, I'm really frustrated. I was really looking forward to this game but this flaw just sinks it IMO.
Now apart from the crap AI and the lack of CPU trading, the rest of the game's pretty good.
I'm starting to question whether this franchise is actually moving forward... I don't think FIFA is getting worse, but I don't think it's getting better either.
Now I'm not an PES fanboy, but I do note that Konami generally just keeps their gameplay engine and just makes small improvements each year.
