ps2 worth it?

guys.. i know ps2console has been released since long time a go..but anyway i need ya... whatever...
this way.. i got nice spec pc.. but i didnt find any excitement there for football gaming...ive played we6fe before in rental places in ps2 of course... n im planning to buy ps2 just 4 playin WE series..
is it worth? n also sometimes come to think about it i wont be able to play a team in a real league there ( u know the exitement ) but in we theres just like master league playin against mixed teams.. kind of unreal league... its only accomodated in fifa 2004 but we's gameplay is more real... dunno yet for fifa 2004
actually i just like football gamin so much

Well, it really depends what your purpose is. If you like games and that is your main focus then defenitely get a PS2, it beats the PC hands down as far as games and the amount of good games go. But if your more interested in internet etc then obviously a PC would be the better choice.
The way I did it, is that Ive got an average PC(P3, 700MHz) with dsl which I only use for internet and my graphics stuff and also a PS2 for my games.

i would have to agree with philler on that. i have a pc but no ps2 because i don't really use many games, only ones that i really like, so the pc does it for me on games. but if you are into serious gaming then getting a ps2 would be definetely worth while.

Yeha i have a ps2 and it is great for games. It really depends on how much money you have, because if you have a pc you are open to an unlimited number of games via internet

But none of them compare to the quality of a ps2 game, so stick with ps2 if you have the $$$

That's exactly what I do too....I decided to keep my old P3 500mhz which combined with cable is more than good enough for internet and anything else I need to do. But it's PS2 all the way for games, it's far better than a PC for gaming in several ways..

I've got an AMD 2700+ in my system but the Ti4800 card lets it down because it's crap. Some of my games work on it but stutters like crap whilst others I have, such as the older FIFA's, just don't work at all.

Trouble with PC is that there are fewer and fewer good games coming out for it now. Also this stuff about compatibility and all that was doing my head in so I just use it now for making graphics, doing sites and of course, browsing the 'net.

Last month I spent £200 on a PS2 with PES2, a second control pad, 8MB memory card and RF cable (cos I haven't got my new TV set yet)... Cos I got a GAME reward card I was entitled to a free game from their selected titles, so I got MK Deadly Alliance with it...

I'm really happy with it so far, though I will get some more games once I get paid this week. There is such a huge library of good games out for the PS2 which made me get that rather than any other console.

anyway i got better pc p4..geforce, great monitor.. as human being dyin for football games...lol.. ill leave my pc for studying n graphic then... no need to upgrade that recently.... ill get ps2 come a long with pes2 n we6.. n my honey bunny PC will get fifa 2004 later
