PS2 vs. PS1 Controllers in PC version

Hi guys. My concern is about the differences in the PC version of the game of the PS1 and PS2 controllers.

I use to play the game in my computer, but when I go to play games in some friends house's, which have a PS2, I notice the difference in the analog buttons, especially when shooting free kicks.

I play in my PC with a Super Joybox 5, a USB multitap adapter for PC.

Does anyone knows if the analog buttons of PS2 controllers also works ir PC?

Hope someone understands what I'm talking about.

Thanks.

Manuel.

Try the PS2 ones if you have them lying around and if they work then great. On my converter though I had to push the analog buttons like x square circle and triangle really hard to work so I just used PS1 controllers and all is fine with WE8.

I will try to take away one of my friend's controllers to see what happens in my PC.

But it would be really hard, this guys are really sick with this game!!! :D (I think we all are).

Thanks everybody for the replies.

Manuel.

How does one get their computer to recongnize the Joybox? I went to the Mayflash site ( http://www.mayflash.com/download.asp ) and d/l the proper driver. I then installed it to my HD. My computer sees that a USB device has been plugged in, but cannot tell what it is. Any help would be appreciated

You simply plug the Joybox to the USB port with the controllers attached. Then you go to Control Panel, Game Devices (I have my windows xp in spanish, so I suppose it's called "game devices"). The controllers should appear in the list.

In my case (Super Joybox 5) they are called "Quad USB Force Feedback Joypad"

Hope it helps. :rockman:
