Well, 2003 is finally here, but I must say I'm a little disappointed in it. As expected, there has been a heavy PES influence on gameplay, with associated reductions in control. The best things about WC2002 have pretty much all been removed (the curled balls, pressure sensitive shots, lobs and passes, and trick moves). The new system for tricks is quite enjoyable (i.e. right analogue stick), but a little unpredictable.
I can't help but feel some frustration when playing it, but I guess you just have to view the whole thing differently, like when you play PES- think differently about what to do next, and basically submit to what the programers intended each button to do.
Does anyone know of any hidden techniques (for instance: the lob 1-2s of WC2002 etc...) on the playstation 2?
Also, it says in the manual that the right analogue stick does knock-ons and lay-offs. How do you do a lay-off with it ?
Cheers
