PROBLEM with Installing Fifa 2007 Demo!

I Downloaded the demo fine with EA Downloader but when it goes to Install it starts ok, but then goes to install Direct X and after that it Says U must restart computer, i restart and then it installs Direct X 9 and asks to Restart again and this keeps happening so i cant get past this bit.

Ive tried installing Direct X on it self so it doesnt go to install in the Fifa demo but it still does it.


Is anyone having the same problem??

hmm.. sometimes with ea installers you can right click go to properties and turn on compatibily mode then set it to windows 2000. this is what i had to do with madden 07 because it couldnt find direct x when i already had the latest version installed.

I had the same problem, and i almost give up. Then i randomly went into the

CProgram Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache

directory, where it was installed so i could investigate. I then went into my usernames folder, then

easofifa-2007online_contentfifa_2007_demo_eu

that folder, just to see if there was anything i could mess with to make it work. Turns out there was a fifa07 demo.exe file in there, i doulbe clicked it and the demo actually started running, without any confirmation of it even being installed, just being asked to install directx again and again after every restart.. Was quite weird. So basically, do what i did and you'll be fine.

OK thanks guys, I ended up installing onto my other computer and copied all the files back onto this one lol because i was to eager to play nobody replied for a while
