Problem saving Compilation to my computer

i made a compilation using Windows Movie Maker. i finished and when i tried saving to my computer. it says "cannot save movie, make sure that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that there is enough space on your computer."

1. source files still available-check
2. saving location still available-check(saving on desktop, it has to be available)
3. enough disk space- check(just bought memory the other day, more than enough available)


anyone please help. what's wrong??

ok new problem......i finally saved when i tried the DV-AVI(NTSC) option. but the compilation is 1 min. and 15 sec. and the file size is 258 MB. what the hell its way too much??

you mean moved somewhere else on my computer? if yes than its not that. everything i saved was on desktop and still remains there.
