Problem Aiming Shots

Hey guys,

I got FIFA 07 about a week ago, but I have a problem. Whenever I shoot the ball, not a free kick but a regular shot, it goes high. The only goals I've scored are off the top post and down into the goal and headers. It's really annoying. I'm using a controller, the Nyko Airflo to be specific, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I don't think I'm holding anything that would change it. Could it be the left analog? I'm wondering what the problem is, because this is pretty annoying, and makes it less fun.

Any help would be appreciated!

here is your problem: first of all what player are you shooting with? crappy players overshoot by miles. second: from what distance are you shooting? closer in is better. and finally, dont hold the shoot button so long, but just tap it, try this

Haha, it's a good controller, keeps my hands from getting sweaty. ;)

I'm using players around 75 right now, but it had been happening playing with Man U, too. it was happening from every place, too.

I think what it is was holding it too long. I guess I'm used to EA's NHL games, where slapshots suck unless you give them full power. It's been working a little better, so I think that might have fixed it.
