SO indeed, WE10jap = PES6 = WEPES2007

And if these scans are authentic (looks like they are), then next-gen pes would have to be PES7.....

The graphics look exactly the same. Am I wrong? What's new about gameplay?

I take it that when they mention the next-gen boxes and what that will mean for AI and the rest , they will be creating 2 versions of the game, for with about 100M PS2 out there I can't see them not make it for the PS2 even though in the scanned pages they mention the limit being reached in this gen units ..

Will that mean a new game engine for the nextgen boxes to take advantage of the power that these units hold, for creating AI and animation as well as powerful physics ?

For if the build PES7 for the nextgen boxes using the same engine that will be used in PES7 for the PS2 , then all the flaws or whatever you want to call them will still be in the nextgen games ..


I seen they mentioned header from defence will be more powerful and accurate , from all the games of PES5 Ive played, the cpu's headers from defence never miss the cpu players there headed out to , in fact 99.9% of headers from the cpu find there man. Yet just you try and glance a header down to a player near you , ha ! The headers in PES5 are bad enough , bad for human players , 99.999% accurate for the cpu ..

Have you tried WE10 for PS2?

The graphics are similar, and I think, although there's always something to improve, there's not so much to do with them. There are new animations and the gameplay is superior, IMO.

So, I think, as usual, that PES6 for PC or PS2 will be a improved version of the the WE10 Jap.

I hate that as much as you do....
I hope from all my heart that it isn't true, but that's not what the source says.

The three games are identical, only different names, and area releases.

When I heard that Konami wasn't producing a game til January 2007, I said 'hey they must be working on their new next-gen game from scratch... till I read that.

It's good they changed the name. But a single version release would be better. Instead of a few months break in between releases of the same game each year...
