Previous Seasons Career

Hey guys, I've been thinking it would be great if you could play career mode starting from previous years. For example, you start in 2004 with Barcelona and Messi as a young prospect and Ronaldinho as a world star and play until now, with Lio as the team's frontman (imagine we could see him evolve as a player and even see the changes in his appearance such as hair, beard, tattoos etc)

Wouldn't it be great if all transfers, kits, boots, etc happened as they did in real life?

It might sound crazy but I thought I'd share it anyway.
What do you guys think?

I think you're going too far with real transers, they would be too hard and too many to replicate.

But I've had a similar idea, since FIFA 12 to FIFA 15 kits have stayed pretty much within the same format.
It would be great to take FIFA 12's DB, import it into FIFA 15.
Then create several folders such as kits 12, kits 13, kits 14, kits 15 with extracted kit rx3s from those FIFAs.
The first one used would be from FIFA 12, and each year in career mode you would just rename the correct year's folder to 'kit'.

Maybe some enthusiasts could also import older boots, adboards, kit fonts and numbers and balls.

If importing 12's DB into 15 is technically possible, we could have an alternative history career from 2012 to 2015.

If you use sql, it wouldn't be hard to swap out the relevant files. I've thought a bit about this. The more you keep the league structures similar to what they are now (in game) the easier.

You'd have to figure out what you want to do with young players, birthdays, recently promoted teams, past relegated teams, new teams, etc.

I've thought a bit about this but decided CM is so finniky that I'm just gonna concentrate on Tournament Mode for now. And, I specialize in national teams...

All in all I find this a great idea as I was already very annoyed by that way too fast decrease of the players' performance level when I played a Be A Pro career.

E.g. Robben and Ribéry. In FIFA 14 or even FIFA 13 I started a career playing my virtual pro with my gameface and all that and I was so looking forward before the great disappointment came in.

The first year I had to play at some lower division's club (so I went to the 2nd division in England and won the FA cup with - I don't even recall the club's name) and one year later I came back to FC Bayern. When I arrived Robben and Ribéry already decreased by 4 and 5 respectively in their overall rating. In reality they were still getting better and better and better. But in FIFA they went from world class players to some ninth-division-players within 2 or 3 years...

So it was only half of a season I could actually play together with those two awesome lads before they became bench (and later stand) warmers.

It would have been so great if I could have started that career in let's say 2010. So my pro could develop along with the entire squad that torn Europe apart in 2013.
