Play.com have listed Pro Evolution Soccer 5, with a release date of October 28th. We are pretty sure that is just speculation as there has been no official Press Release as of yet.

You can get yourself over to Play and be one of the first to order your copy right now for just 29.99 with FREE delivery. Play often ship games out early so you could even have it a few days before the official release.

Here are the features of winning elven 9 but should be in pes5.

- Improved way players move on the pitch.
- Better motions of the onscreen players.
- Two new positions: Wing Back (For players like Cafu who go forward a lot but are defenders) and Second Top (For players like Scholes who play generally just behind the strikers).
- New weather condition: Snow. You will see breath coming from the players mouths to add realism.
- Improved online play. Konami have promised less noticeable lag. In addition you can now compete your Master League teams against each other.
- Nippon Challenge: Go For 2006: game mode to take the Japanese national team to the World Cup.
- Improved Master League with more control of player growth.

Improved Master League with more control of player growth.

The most important fundamental change they can make to the Disaster League is the structure, which would cost them nothing.

But I think it's more likely we'll be able to control our players in the toilet during the half-time interval before they sort out this basic requirement which certain football games had sussed 10 years ago.

Control of player growth???...do me favour!!! Perhaps we can have hair growth during a season too. I could not be less excited :nape: . Sort the f*cking structure!!!

any idea if the online mode will remain the same i.e Host/Client or more of a lobby system like in FIFA?.

This will mean growth of their skill attributes rather than how tall/fat they are.

Haha aqua... :|

Anyway, it's cool that they've added more positions for the type of 'Scholes' player and 'Cafu/Carlos' players.

Gosh!! I didn't know that.

I thought it meant we could fatten them up on a diet of chips and chocolate and then stretch them on a medieval torture rack, so thanks for keeping me informed :hump: .

The listed Improvemnts are not to any aspect of gameplay , only to animation and few postions on-field. The online stuff and the rest are again nothing to do with gameplay or game/ball Physics....

As per the Seabass (Konami Dev) interviews, the PS2 can't handle any more AI / Gameplay / Physics upgrades or rewrites. What you'll get with PES5 is the same game as PES4 (with all little flaws, and it does have them , even though its the greatest football ever made (so far) ) but for all intents and purposes, the gameplay and AI will be exactly the same as PES4.

What you will get is better player movement (animation) added weather effects snow and players breaths (again animation ), better online play (less lag) and a few more teams kits and stadiums...

But for all the king new clothes, underneath its still PES4.

And I don't blame them for that! Seabass per-warned us all in those two interviews he gave (much to the annoyance of Konami, who had the interviews taken off the internet ). But as I don't blame them, then they in turn can't blame me for not buying PES4+ (or as it will be named PES5 )

It will be next year when they have the PS3 to build PES6 on or whatever they end up calling it, before we will see the gameplay at least changed (or rewritten) for the better and the upgrade in AI and player and ball physics that will take the series to the next level..

I don't think Konami will go bust if I don't buy the next one, but one thing for sure (if I still here ) the 1st game I will be buying will be the next gen game PES6..

And you, sir, are a monkey's udder. But neither of these insults address the fact that the structure of the ML is woefully inadequate.

Well clearly you didn't understand what it meant otherwise you would never have made that original post. Don't try and backtrack now.

Yeah, he is a dumbass, just ignore him.

I have to agree with you Mighty Tic, I doubt I'll buy this years game. I'd rather wait for PES6 even though thats still about a year and a half away yet.

leave the handbags at the door please women.

Personally i agree with what Tic said, while this is a nice addition to the cabinet i dont really forsee much improvement in graphics/gameplay etc. It's a pity but it just wets our appetite for the next-gen versions i guess.

TROD.

Absolutely, I bow to your obvious intelligence and perception, and forgive the fact that you are completely witless. You are the master.

i want ******* unscripted gameplay and less ping-pong like ARCADE gameplay :kader:

God, that would be heavan, but we both know it's not going to happen, at least, not in PES5.

The AI in this game is actually getting worse, now relying exclusively on a scripted shambles. Utterly pathetic and yet no sign of it improving.

Nice job postbooster, three across the board. Next time try to put it all in one post, but judging by your intelligence level, that ain't gonna happen.
