Pre-ordering WE7 in the US/Can

Hi there,

Has anyone from the US tried to pre-order WE7 ?

I've looked at ncsx.com and they claim to have shipping for WE7 from August 7th (the date of it's release)
How is ncsx.com ? Is it reliable and quick in shipping ?

I've tried videogamedepot.com and Kickshobby to get WE6, WE6FE before. I got these a week after the release date.

Anyone care to comment ? I would appreciate some info.

Try HyperGame Action store, mate. Last year, when I visited their store, the WE6 (Japanese version) game arrived on the same day of its released.

The good thing, the store is located in Los Angeles County & I notice you live in California. So, it should be easy for you to contact them. Here's the link.

Toys R Us Rules

My WE6 story:

I remember scouring all the stores for WE6i on US-release day. I wanted it in my hands immediately. No one had it. My last call of the day was to Toys R Us. They had 3 copies on the shelves day of release.

I'm forever grateful to ya, TRU.

The thing is, WE7 isn't coming to America... or at least there is no plans for it. Getting back on topic, I'm probably going to use lik-sang.com and preorder it from them

How is lik-sang BTW ?
Would the shipping take longer due to customs,etc ?

Are you sure? So would you say there's probably no chance of us ever getting it here? If you're right, that would be terrible... 'cause I don't plan on importing.

But really, is there any evidence at all to prove or disprove your comment? (I'm just extremely curious, you know.)

Of course the friggin game's coming to the U.S., albeit after the rest of the world has already played it.

I don't think you've been reading the news stories, guy. IGN has reported that Konami has no plans on releasing it here. This is probably due to the low sales, if you ask me.

What's the point?

I don't understand why Konami have this limited release policy when it comes to their games. Surely selling copies of a game, even in relatively low numbers, is better than having everybody just copy the game because they can't buy it unless they pay a small fortune to import it and then they have to mod their PS2 anyway.

EA may produce crap soccer titles but at least they release in every country on every platform.

This is why I had to turn to emulators to begin with to play Konami's soccer titles because I couldn't purchase the freaking games over here and if I did manage to import them then I wouldn't be able to play them anyway! What am I supposed to do? Buy a freaking PS1 just to own the console when I can't play the game I want to play on it anyway?

I have a PS2 now and WE6:I but if WE7 isn't released eventually I'm gonna be pissed off. Does anybody officially know how well WE6:I has done over here or was the comment about low sales just hear say?

All conjecture on your part, my friend, the game's coming to the U.S. in 04.

All kidding aside, we'll have to wait and see.
