Potential PES convert..but..

Hi all,

I'm seriously considering screwing off EA altogether finally - the last straw was FIFA2004 just failing in so many aspects - I played the PES demo on PC and quite enjoyed it - the net physics are amazing....

BUT....I just can't get by without all the English club teams and real names/kits etc....

please can someone here put my fears to rest by saying that someone will create all this stuff on the PC version when it comes out...if so, I'm converting immediately and FIFA will never get my cash again - it will be Konami all the way!

About as sure as the sun someone will make a patch with correct teams/names/ and most if not all the kits, within a week or less of the PC game release.

This has list of real names etc.

You can rename clubs to there real name.

for example, you can rename Trad Bricks to Manchester United.

All players in the Manchester United squad but Ryan Giggs and Ruud van Nistelrooy have real names, but you can rename them too - same goes for most Dutch and Welsh players in the game.

And there are not that many players with fake names.

And it does not take that long to rename teams, although I bet someone will make a patch that renames all the clubs automatically, vice versa with players.

It only took be about half an hour to rename ALL of the clubs via PS2 Gamepad when I rented out the ps2 version, it will be alot quicker with keyboard I guess.

it wouldn't matter to me if PES had 2 teams, one in black and one in white, FIFA still couldn't compete..

Too true! even if PES had only 1 player it would still be heaps better than FIFA.

Back to the original question. For the PC version...don't worry mate there will be patches. Real kits, player names, faces, boots, music etc all will be patched

Legend master there are a bunch of patches, but usually its just one league. I don´t know if they´ll be able to fit more team on the PC, maybe they can hack it.

But in PESe/WE6 we had argentinian/brasilian/epl/spanish/ patches for those leagues and many others.

Also for WE7/PES3 an updated patch called Reload with a bunch of new stadiuns, kits with original logos and a bunch of stuff like update rooster with real names

Minda that the patch is more centered on champions league, so there are a couple of teams from each european country like: Chelsea, Arsenal, Manu and I think another one from EPL. Plus a bunch more from other coutries like Juve, Milan, Parma, Barca, RM, Socieadde, Deportivo, Valencia, Bayer, Borussia, PSV....

I will be making a sh*tload of faces, they are dead easy to make and the best thing about it is you can use real photos (you could even add yerself into the game!!) meaning the player's faces are photorealistic textures and 100% accurate, how cool is that

I think that something like fifafx will be made for pes. So we will able to have all leagues with different ball teams adboards etc.

If u dont convert to PES u will be making a big mistake...muaha

if what you guys say is true about patches n stuff then i'm there - consider that another convert to PES!
