Post-Game Player Stats

1. Are the post-game individual players ranking/stats just bell and whistles, or do any of you use these numbers in any meaningful way?

2. Anyone have a vague idea of how the game computes the final numerical ranking?

3. Is "intercept ability" the number of times the player regained possession for his team?

3) yea its how may times he "intercepted" the ball. I think without tackling of course.

My assumption is that the final score is weighted depending on position. For example, a CF with zero shots on goal will get a 3.0, 4.0 or 5.0, regardless if his passing, crossing, and dribbling accuracy is 100 percent.
