Before I want to start the 3rd edition of the Portuguese SuperLiga Prediction League, I'd like to ask all of you one thing...
The concept of this competition will change dramatically and to organise this PL I have to know how many ppl are going to participate ACTIVELY. Let me explain what I'm up to:
I want to create a group phase/knock-out tournament: I hope to get 16 or more (preferably 24) participants and divide them into groups of 4 or more. These groups will be predicting the first 17 league games and get points during those games. The first 2 (or more depending on the number of contestants) will go through to the knock-out rounds:
1) in case of 16 - 23 participants: 1/4 finals => 5 games to predict; 1/2 finals => 6 games to predict; final and losers final => 6 games to predict
2) in case of 24 or more participants: 1/8 finals => 3 games to predict; 1/4 finals => 4 games to predict; 1/2 finals => 5 games to predict; final and losers final => 5 games to predict
So you see, I need at least 16 ppl to join (24 would be preferably for the sake and excitement of this tournament)
Because ppl can't predict anymore after the group phase, there will be a normal competition too (just for fun) so that everyone can keep predicting throughout the season...
