I would like to ask the Portugal Fans a question about their team?

What is wrong? What do you, the fans think needs fixing for the team to be a heavy contender like it once was. I mean first in WC in 02, the United States upsets them ( :rockman: ). Now in Portugal for the Euro cup they lose to Greece? Is it the coach? Players? What does everyone think needs to be done?

BTW, good game, you are pretty much gone now :rockman: :hump: :p

Im kinda glad they lost yesterday, all portugese fans think there team are god like, arrogant fans, glad they lost.

arrongants are among all fans. Some portuguese are arrogant some not. Some english are some not... And if we are god or not don't matter because it's enough always to win against England in the WC's or Euros...

the difference is that an extremely small monority of English fans are arrogant. And a massive majority of Portuguese fans are arrogant :)

do you know portuguese fans to know if they are arrogant? maybe you didn't even came to Portugal... Are some portuguese SG members a little bit arrogant and annoying here, or was because almost all are already banned, but isn't clearly the majority.

There's nothing wrong with the team, the players are good enough, and the motivation is there. We just didn't communicate well enough on the field. I'd hate to blame Scolari, but I think he realized his mistakes yesterday.

So for the game against Russia we can expect to see a 4-4-2 lineup with Deco instead of Rui, and Gomes playing aside Pauleta, with Costinha maybe out of the team all together.

As for calling us Portuguese arrogant, this is coming from a group of fans which thinks it has an invincible midfield, though every single fan in the world that's not English can see it as a weak spot.

i have sympathy for portugal

unfortunately i cannot see them progressing.

We must consider a few things..

Greece will probably beat Russia and lose to Spain, resulting in both Greece and Spain having 6 points. Portugal will probably beat Russia, resulting in them having 3 points. Then Portugal must beat Spain which I do not see happening, sorry.

What a wasted opportunity.

Since when does Porto = Portugal?

I'd argue over the arrogancy in England especially in the EPL, but who'd ******* care?

They need to get rid of those golden generation players, most of them aren't so golden anymore.

Also, Greece aren't a bad side, so this result is hardly a shock for me.
