Porto: No Way Jose Joins Chelsea

Porto president Nuno Pinto da Costa has warned Roman Abramovich he will "got to war with Chelsea" if the Londoners attempt to poach coach Jose Mourinho.

Porto have already accused Chelsea of illegally approaching Mourinho about the prospect of taking over from Claudio Ranieri in the summer and da Costa has now insisted he will not sit back and watch his coach leave.

He told the Daily Star: "I want to make it clear that we will go to war with Chelsea over Mourinho. We will bring in UEFA, FIFA - whoever we need to.

"The attitude of the Russian [Abramovich] is the worst I have seen in the football world. He thinks that after buying Chelsea he can do what he wants and skip all the established rules."

This is not new for me since i'm a Porto fan and here in Portugal are talking everyday about the interest of Chelsea in Mourinho but like is told in the new our President Pinto da Costa won't let him go easily, Abramovich think that he can buy everything with his money but he's being pathetic. :kader:

If Mourinho wanted to leave to go to a new job, Porto would be direspectfull to block it. Thats the world for managers....the club can fire you at any time and the manager can leave at any time if they want to.

Mourinho have already told to the press that he wants to coach in England in the future but he also said that he's very well coaching Porto so i guess everything depends of what Porto is going to achieve this season(the portuguese league is already won) and probably the money that some clubs are gonna offer to him... :rolleyes: I guess we can only talk about this issue in the end of the season cause Porto still have the opportunity to win the portuguese cup and maybe the champions league too. ;)
