As much as Barca people will disagree, the Real side of 56-60 has accomplished what the others havent. Sweeping 5 cl's and winning 2 leagues. I dont think the "dream team" comes first. The name dream team was taken from the USa basketball team in Barcelona 92 olympics. Barca were very good that year (94). I was personally at a match at nou cam when they beat Santander. Still remember, goals from Jordi Cruyff (diving header) and free kick from Koeman. But they werent a dream team.

Also, no English sides. United '99? Arsenal 2004 aka "the invincibles"?
I don't know if either could claim number one, but they definitely deserve to be in contention if Bayern 2001 is on there.

Yes, Bybuti, Franco was the man! Unfortunately, barca won more leagues than Real Madrid did in the Franco years. Look it up, you will see that Barca were very succesful during Franco. Playing football on the pitch, thats what RM did. If Franco was afan, good for him, who cares. Doesnt take away from what we did in those years.

Man United 1999? what ******* idiot would put Ronny Johnsen, Jesper Blomqvist, Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole in any sort dream team.

I pity anyone who has dreams like that.

If they continue like they have until now, then they're definitively up there!

wtf des this thread have to do with dream team? plus yorke and cole were deadliest striike firce back in the day 1998/1999 man u should be #1 pr 2 on that list man u that year were just amazing also its not about indivdual players but how the players function s a unit that makes a team amazing

and your also for forgetting scholes keane beckham. look at how well hull re doing there 1st ever time in EPL and they doing reallly well cuase they function really well as a team (now there on a slump but thats normal)
