I have noticed a lot of argument recently over whether the beautiful game should be called soccer of football. Although I strongly beleive it should be called football, I thought I'd hold a poll to find out a total opinion. Please vote - your national pride is at stake!!!

There's nothing wrong with Chelsea, personally a liverpool fan but to be quite honest there a good team. Their good to watch as everyone will agree and always promise goals, and well, Zola still has more skill than anyone in Man Utd's or Arsenal's team.... Even liverpool!!!! So no, Chelsea arn't a team of has-been mercinaries.

Oh and by the way, It's called FOOTBALL

TROD, I commend you. It's great to see a strong club supporter accepting the ability of other clubs and enjoying watching them play. I take great pleasure in watching the likes of Hyypia, Riise and Henchoz defending with such skill and expertise. Great news about Babbel's return to the game by the way.

Back onto the subject, I dont feel that strongly about it being called Football, I just cant understand why you would call american football - football. I dont mind about all the other names like futbol. but, all im saying is that american football in my opinion, is played more with the hands... so maybe american handball should be more appropiate.

I like Bolton, because Sam Allardyce is so funny.

As for "Verbally abusing" you, merely displaying my automatic disregarding of your opinions can't be classed as "Abuse". Also, by saying "everyone" I meant majority. You say football should be called football in BIG BOLD letters, and then when someone says something against it, you say, Oh, well, I don't feel THAT strongly about it..

Looks like I TROD on your ego, sorry.
