Congratulations on Vladislav Maksimchyk's patch for FIFA 2006. I thought you might be able to help me with my problem.
I need to do something very similar in FIFA 2006 (ie: allow both controllers to be put in the same team and play with them) but in DirectIP games. Currently the game does not let me move my controller to the opponent's team.
Please help me do this, I am looking for this feature since Fifa 2003 to no avail sad.gif My fifa is nearly ruined because of this stupid decision by EA since I mostly play my own tournaments with a friend (both guys on the same team) over direct ip connection.
I tried installing your patch but it only modifies the Manager mode. There should be a very similar way to do this. I saw you somehow edited the file 03_offl in the playnow directory. What did you edit and with what program? There is a pconline directory and a file called directip.big within so I guess I have hopes of modifying it in order to allow it. However I have never edited these kind of files and although I managed to see its contents using BIGEditor, I don’t know how to edit these files or what to modify. I just tried opening the apl and constant files with Textpad but there is mostly junk. Do I have to use a special editor?
If you or ANYONE else can help me do this I will be very grateful. I will even offer a small monetary reward (about $10 US) if somebody manages to do this.
