PLEASE HELP!!! - CM editor problem

I have CM 01/02 for the macintosh and when attempting to use the editor there is a error which denies me access to the database when I try and open it. The error reads:

Fatal database error:
[indexes] container::
open_file(..):
Openfile CM01-02:
chamionshipmanager:
Data:index.dam failed
(file not found or access denied)

Has anyone else experienced this and/or know of a solution to the problem.

Well I've never used CM on the Mac before, but I will try and answer your query.

File not found or access denied usually means one of two things:-
  • The file is not present
  • The file is read-only
I'm not sure if this applies to the Mac or not, but I suggest you make sure that the file (index.dam) does not have read-only enabled. The file should be present as CM would not run without it.

You could also try re-installing CM and see if that helps.
