Well IMO competition is a good thing,so what if EA has the licence,Konami could buty the FIFA licence as well if they wanted too but they are a greedy corparate just like EA.It's a business first and foremost, its the bottom line that counts in today's big companies. They work hard to program the game engine and gameplay for lets say 2 years for any current generation of consoles, then they milk the franchise for years to come with their little upgrades each year and we the consumers are left with maybe an under appriecated game that could be better. It's a give and take relationship,if EA,Konami or Sega gave us everything we wanted would we purchase next year's product?
I think game companies should produce a title every 2 years instead of every year, then they will have time to make more and better improvements to the game. With the future of online gaming Konami,EA and Sega could charge a monthly or yearly fee for online play but ONLY in the 2nd year should they charge for online play-- and we could just download the updated Rosters for the 1st-2nd years.Waht do U all think?
Competition,competition,competition,its a good thing.
