You can use them with Kitserver (6.3 or above) to have better looking kits in the game.

HD kits are High Definition kits -> increased resolution kits

Normal kits are 512x512 or so , but HD kits -> 1024x512 or 2048x1024

They are more beautiful and more detailed :)
