Players get tired really quickly

My players condition level drops out to 60-75 before every match so i have to keep changin the starting line up to every match?
Does anyone else have that same prob?
How often do you set up your team physical training? Do you use it every week or as often as possible or how do you use it?

I have the same problem too. With Millwall i have to change the line up to every games because my players are always with a low condition. Even the subs don't recover quickly. The only game that i played with all players in 100% was the first.:(

Yeah, i would like to know that too. Players get tired quickly and i don't really see how training changes anything.

Yes you have to change your line-up alot which makes it more realistic, but it is annoying as some players like J. Zanetti never get tired (literally, in real life) and he always gets tired in the game. They did it to add to realism, another thing they COPIED from PES and WE, but its a good copy.;)

i don't think realistic changing all line up... the teams don't change the entire line ups between the games. And IRL the condition of the players aren't always low...

Oh, and one more thing......if you simulate couple of games, players seem to be in good shape but as soon as the user gets control of the team, players get tired dramaticly. Anybody know a good strategy?

Eddy_87, what exactly do you mean "Extra Physical Training"? Do you even know?

How long should you train your team? Every week? Every other week? 3 consecutive weeks? Should you rotate Extra Phys. Training with Normal Phys. Training?

How long do you need to train individual players before their skills increase? Is the skills increase something you can verify by comparing before and after ratings? Is the increase in skill only apparent during a match?

I've tinkered with the different training options but I can't find any special formula to optimize my players performance levels. I regularly schedule team training but it always seems that my team is fresher the game after canceling a session than they are during or before. Also, I have individually trained my players specifically on sprints (only option that would affect endurance) but I didn't notice any change in their ratings or real difference in their performance.

My midfielders, especially my central midfielders, become the most fatigued. My 3 man back line can go quite a few games before they need a rest and I regularly rotate my strikers because they seem to get injured the most frequently.

If anyone knows how to train players/teams optimally, please post.

In Fifa2003 you could go long with youre main players for quite a while, I think its more realistic in Fifa 2004 although sometimes the overall number of players that need to be subbed is unrealistic.

Actually you....well nevermind, chammas has really got going today but...you hardley ever see a team line up the same players every match. There are a core group and most of the time a first eleven that the coach has but they are rarely all fit at the same time. For Ex, haven't you ever watched Man U, say they play Wolves on Sunday but play Juve in CL on WED. Ferguson will rest key players for the Wolves game in order to have his Favorite eleven for the CL. See what I mean, I agree that FIFA doesn't represent this perfect but I think it is what they are trying to do.

But I don't know if training works.

I can give you my thoughts:

Physical training increases your players condition, but I can't see that it helps against fatigue. I tried to rotate a lot playing with Juventus, and with Serie A, the italian cup and CL, thats alot of matches... So my players got very exhausted, and I skipped physical training to see if that helped, but it didn't, their condition went down, and they didn't last long in the matches. So I tried to do the normal physical training every week, then I think they lasted longer, but in the end of the season my midfielders was very tired, it took some weeks to get them on their feet again... I think it's a little unrealistic, because it doesn't happen that often that a teams central midfielder is substituted, it takes a lot for a new player to get into the match in real life (not in fifa :) )

Individual training:
If you want to increase a players shooting, just choose shooting, and let it stay that way, it's not enough with just a week or a month. Watch the plyayers bio, there's a bar (was it green?)next to the ability you're training, and when that green bar reaches the top, his shooting abilities increases... note that training shooting affects both shooting accuracy and shooting power.

Well, thats what I know, from playing the and reading this forum, hope it helps, and that you understand my english ;)

it is not realistic at all if u asked me....
have u play a full 90 minutes match?
so, how long will u recover from the tired problem?
max 1 day...

the players have 1 week (to play next match, usualy) to recover and still tired.....
don't says that training make the players tired coz in fifa, training make the players get back in their form....

fifa = unrealistic :D

in real life, three days between matches is minimum, you're not fit for a new match after just one day if you're going to play a whole season... but off course I agree, this fatigue-stuff is far from realistic. But it's better than last year, when your winger sprinted down the flank with a defender at his heels, and five metres from where you would send the cross away, your winger suddenly becomes very tired, and almost walks down just to lose the ball the next sec... that's frustrating

I like the fact that players get tired and have to be switched out of the lineup, but agree that they get tired way too quickly. I think this is especially the case with the midfielders. I know the midfielders control the ball a lot and do the most running, but (in real life) they are also usually the most conditioned players on the field. Hence although they run the most, they shouldn't be go down from 100 to 60 over the course of just one game while the fullbacks go down 10 points at the most. It should all be scaled to the individual player/position played as opposed to just dependent on how much one player runs in the game (which is what the game seems like it does right now).

I haven't really figured out the training stuff yet, but as mentioned before, the only way I know to keep your players conditioned is just rotate them within the game, and not play them every few games.

Geronimo, thanks for the tip on the status bar that indicates when training is complete - I will check it out later.

I've bought 5 extra midfielders to help out my club but now everyone is back from injury and I can't get some of them into the lineup.

I've found that if you train your players every week, and sometimes (every other week) do the extra physical training, they don't fatigue as quickly and their form is better.
