Players blinking on radar

I've noticed that sometimes some of my guys - usually my 2 forwards - are blinking on the radar. Is that supposed to be telling me that I can pass to them with a long pass or through ball?

I'm playing WE7I on the PC.

Has anyone else noticed this or does anyone know what it means? I've done some searches but can't find anything...

i'm pretty sure it means that ur player is guarded by a some1 else

ur player is guarded by an opposing player...or he is next to an opposing player

It just means a player is standing next to an opponent, it flashes to let you know there are 2 players there.
