Player T-Shirt Number Problem

Ok i created a player called santiago hes no.18 i was with cardiff city for 5 years and so i changed clubs to hull city i signed santiago to hull and on back of his top it shows number1 but number 8 is squared pink and blue.
Does anyone know whats wrong?
