Player strength/condition

Can anyone interpret for me the green/red/arrows next to the condition bar? What do the colours and direction (up/down) mean)?

Thanks in advance.

The colours are representative to the arrows, blue means not very improved/decreased, yellow means partially and red means extremely. So a red up arrow means the player is in a very good mood and up for the game. His stats invisibley increase.
However a red down arrows shows they are on a bit of a downer and their stats decrease.
Diagonally up and down mean the player is only slightly up or down. And a straight across blue arrow just indicates the player is in a normal mood and nothing changes.
Because of this in my master league I tend not to play players who have a down red arrow, or I regulate condition which makes them all pretty average instead of extreme ups and downs.

Here is an attached image from wolf's patches that show the effect on stats the arrows have.

Hope this helps

I honestly dont believe this guide, the way I see it players on a green form should still be good, meaning if a player has 99 speed and acceleration he should run fast on green, but this is NOT the case.

I have noticed that my players only play good when on a red form, which is wrong imo.

Players should play good on green, anything over should only give them a slight advantage, because the way I see it, green is normal form so they should be playing like theyre stats, but thats not the case.

I just dont understand the game, on green form my players are utter crap, very bad touches, slow as hell and crap passes.

Like I said, this shouldnt be happening, the only time my players should be playing bad is with anything below a green arrow.

I cant even play the ML as I cant stand it, its mostly green form I have but the way I see it, its more like they have gray, totally unplayable.

And another reason why that guide is crap is because I have seen players with TWO bandages on the knees still turn and run like Henry, its amazing really, because on a yellow arrow I cant even turn that fast with Henry himself.

The game is totally biased on the CPUs behalf, which is why I can win easily on 5 stars in a normal match with them on random form, but struggle in the ML only on 3 stars, because I have a very funny feeling the CPU all have red forms, which is why not one of the players do anything bad, while mine do.

In a normal match I set the CPUs form to random and I see some players turn like they have 2 broken legs, which is the way it should be.

Of course, I'm sure you mean to give credit to cjshp, engl and phelan for producing that image which was taken from pesinsight.

kingpug: If you don't like the explanation of the arrows, show us your own ideas. Maybe you're too used to playing on a certain arrow and the difference when you change is a bit too much?

Maybe your player's tired. Even though they are in 'green' mood, they can still be tired and that's causing them to play bad. check the green bar, if it's full then your player is in excellent condition. anything less shows fatigue.

Yea I know about fatigue, I never play anyone with fatigue, the thing is you can easily notice when someone is fatigued, even though the game says they aint.

Me and my cousin played about 8 seasons on the PS2 with Man UTD and never once had the above problem, we then started one with Chelsea and did about 3 seasons and it happened alot.

I started a season with Valencia on the PC and never had it once after one season, I then did a season with Chelsea and noticed it.

So it is pretty ****ed up to be honest, only Chelsea players for me have this problem..

I mean its hugely annoying that you have to use a sub after only 2 minutes because one player turns like he has two broken legs, even though he has a red arrow and no fatigue.

when the arrow is up player runs a bit faster has more chances of scoring a goal he is more "lucky" and he wins more headers and through balls. When a player is down he will lose a header which in up arrow would be sure goal.

Does anyone what the small bar under the condition bar of each player means? I've watched how it changed during the last few games in Master League but I haven't found a good explanation.

Yea its stamina although its wierd, because I had Aimar play a whole 2nd half with his empty, and tbh I couldnt notice a difference, and also next match he didnt have fatigue..

I believe the lower the underside red 'stamina' bar goes the lower the player's injury tolerance is. So, they might play much the same but if they get clattered there's more chance of injury?

Not sure of this.
