i doubt that anyone has it yet but in a couple of days you can find out yourself. why has everyone decided to ask questions a few days before release?

Why Bother Having A Forum?

I'm sure many people waiting for the PC VERSION are keen to begin preparing for the CC. It doesn't seem to me at all unreasonable to request info from users of the PS2 version a couple of days in advance - after all, being able to request advance information is precisely what these forums are supposed to be about: look at the list of topics.

As for the responses to my query so far - I can't think that an abbreviated list of stats will take any more time to type out than any of these vapid offerings, particularly as it won't just be me who will end up reading this stuff.

Next.

I'm with you Stilton (but then I already have PC version). Let's keep thingz friendly here, shall we?
One question, what's so good about Jardel? We (Ajax Amsterdam) have the best strikers-couple (Ibrahimovic-Sonck) of the game (and let's at the end of the real life season, of the entire Champions League)

The Mule Lives

Thanks to Virgin Megastores - and this is the only time I'll ever say that - and their free gaming consoles, I got a sneak preview of the Team Management screen of Fifa 2004 and here are the player attributes:

Aggression
Awareness
Balance
Ball Control
Dribbling
Heading
Long Ball
Marking
Pace
Passing
Reflexes
Rushing
Shot Acc
Shot Power
Stamina
Strength
Tackling
Throwing
Fatigue
Condition
Form
Morale

I think the last four relate to events taking place in-game or within a season format. Don't think I've missed any.

Incidentally, the game I saw (R Madrid vs R Madrid) was up alongside England v Brazil on PES3. It was kids mostly and they were eagerly queueing up for the PES3. Looked bollocks to me though - not sure if they had it set on a spectacularly easy setting but Scholes was able to score by sprinting from the centre circle, right through an inert defense roughly once every 5 game minutes whereas in the Fifa game, the A1 did at least make it look as if the opposition were trying. Graphics were better too.

Yeah i notice that in fifa you actually have to work this year (old news but important) but in pes demo you didn't have to work that hard.

One thing that has diappointed me this year is the way the Stats and league tables are presented.
You have to scroll across to see anything.

Eg. in a league table you will have:

Name: Games Played: Won: Drawn: Lost:

Then you have to scroll to see the For and against and the Points.

In the team management I'm not sure if the Skill stat relates to the overall, but there also you see the:

Name: Pos: Def: Skill: and another 2 stats.

More Scrolls Than Ancient Greece

Yes - missed out Skill. And you're right - there do seem to be two descriptions of player's positions.

Quite why EA go in for all this scrolling I have no idea. It's always made transfers difficult as you can't compare players at a glance. If they've 'introduced' it for league tables too, that's an added bummer.
