I've been wondering how player ratings work in PES2008.
According to the auto sort function, Van Basten is a better striker than Pele in a 442. That's abit odd to me, but I can accept that. But if I change the formation into a 451, now george weah is considered the best striker in the lone striker position. Why?? Won't Van Basten still be better?
And also, how does playing a player out of position affect his effectiveness in the game? In the game, Passerella is listed as a CWP. He can play CB too. But the auto sort function will put a player that's listed as CB such as Ferdinand ahead of him. Does Passerella lose that much ability playing in a CB position over CWP?.
