play.com always send orders by 2nd class post, and considering the below average postal service,recently you should expect to get your game tomorrow or monday.

that's what i was using this morning in regards to play.com, lots of expletives - i was fackin' livid!
so i played the demo and some things really started to get on my tits, i.e. that awful little toe-punt sorta shot which they do about 60% of the time :@
also passing isn't very accurate, particularly low balls.
if it doesn't come tomorrow though i will actually cry.

there were only 2 real reasons why i ordered from play.com anyway -
firstly, it's £7-8 pounds cheaper than some shops... others it's £10!
and secondly, the free online league entry that's exclusive to play.com
oh and finally i would've ordered from amazon because i think they're more reliable on the whole, but i went to order about 5 weeks ago and the pc version was not even on amazon. so ordered at play. which is annoying since amazon charge... 1p less
and whenever i've pre-ordered with them it came on the day or the day before!!i logged into to my play account and it said the game was dispatched on tuesday as well, though it said it'd take 3-5 days, so you are one LUCKY bastard 'eclap'
The web shop i pre-ordered pes from have updated the order to "posted in mail" today 
then i will have it on tuesday,that's 4 days after the release day!
i dont understand why web shops advertise with "pre-order,delivered to customer on release day" when they dont manage to do it.
the most annoying thing is that if i drive 500 meters the local shop has it in the store,but i will have to wait for my pre-order

Yeah same. If it wasn't for the fact they had that competition I would never have pre-ordered anyway. I could've bought from GAME 2mins from my house on Thursday.

It's not so much Play at fault, but the Royal Mail for going on strike the other day. When I had the order despatch e-mail from Play on Tuesday the following message was at the top...
Though you would have thought that to avoid disappointment they would have shipped the orders BEFORE Tuesday. As of now I still haven't had my copy off them, my guess is that it'll come through on Monday. In the end I've gone and bought it from a shop in town and think I'll give this other copy away as a Christmas gift.

I got my game on the cheap (from Play.com) and I got it on Thursday! So they have a right to whine! I would, that's for sure, but I got lucky! Play.com never let me down, and I've used them over 50 times.
