Yeah, it's a bad name but who cares? Why are MLS stadiums always being pointed out? Portuguese teams are selling the naming-rights of their stadiums. Arsenal's new stadium is gonna be called Emirates Stadium. Bayern's stadium is Allianz Arena. How about AOL Arena?

And no, it's not the same thing as Salzburg because Pizza Hut doesn't own FC Dallas, wise-ass. Dallas got their own stadium, good for them.

If they want to improve the MLS, they should start naming Stadiums a bit more carefully... That's why i don't like Emirates Stadium... Ashburton Grove is much better...

Yes I'm sure that calling it Dallas Park instead of Pizza Hut Park would bring in thousands more viewers every weekend to watch MLS games . I think what you meant to say was "If they want to make the MLS sound respectable to Europeans they should start naming Stadiums a bit more carefully..." I'm pretty sure that Dallas gets a nice amount of green every season for allowing Pizza Hut to put their name on the stadium; good for them (Y)

edit: plus lets face it pretty soon every single stadium will have a name like this, it's already happened in the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL etc... (with a few exceptions of course ex: Lambeau Field, Soldier field...)

Face it: we're now in the 21st Century, and teams all over the world need every last drop of revenue they can get. If it means selling the name of a beloved (or new) stadium to the highest bidder, so be it. Sure many of the names sound daft (Friends Provident St. Mary's Stadium, anyone?), but we now live in an era where football clubs don't give a f*ck about tradition, but rather the almighty dollar/pound/euro.

I don't care that teams sell the rights to the name of the stadium, but Pizza Hut Park sounds ridiculous!! If it was me I would have named it "The Hut." Both parties win in that case.

I rather play soccer at the Pizza Hut Park then play ball at the Quicken Loans Arena. Now that's a ****ty name. I feel bad for LeBron. :funny:

Except no one would know that "The Hut" refers to Pizza Hut (Y)

I hope DC's new stadium is sponsored by Papa Johns.

Papa Johns > Pizza Hut > That frozen **** > Dominoes
