Sparrow and Barbossa just steal the show, awesome performances. I laughed lots of times during the film. Keira has some f*cking legs, dammit.

I liked it, wasn't amazing or anything but not by any means bad. could've been a lot shorter though, and sometimes it got too confusing so I just turned by brain off until they stopped talking, especially about all the deals and stuff they were trying to make constantly throughout the movie. probably why I ended up enjoying it

watched it last night. as expected, it was better than the second one but as good as the first one IMO. Carlos talking to more Carlos*s was fun the first time but stupid the other times. Chon Yun-Fat was wasted. he should've been there for the final battle, as the other pirate lords and Keith Richards. and Calipso was stupid. a giant woman that just made it rain?? WTF.

so yeah, loved Depp and Rush and Nighy but the rest ws all meh. still a fun mnovie

Exactly. All the lords, Calipso and the others were completely useless. They could have not being showed at all as well. The mention of them would be enough and the movie could be an hour short.

It seems like the writers just made more and more s*it up as the movies went along, sort of like what happened to the Matrix trilogy.

I didn't have to pay for it but still I didn't really enjoy it and was happy as hell when it was finally over.

Wasn't funny at all; it was long, confusing and so many things were meaningless... Calipso was ******* stupid and Orlando Bloom was so *****ing gay..

I didn't even liked the way it ended...

I think it was a great movie, 8/10 for me. I can see why some people wouldn't like it. The first one was small and simple but witty, it was like a small event happening where some crew of a ship was fighting with a comador of a small army. However, the third movie was just as witty, but it was much bigger and much more complicated, it felt like the whole world was gathering to fight in one big war that will end everything, as opposed to some small event. Nevertheless, it was very fun and enjoyable. Also, great for the directors to finish the movie, right where it started only with a few facts changed. Perfect position for whatever they decide to do, end the series or film the 4th one. The story ended, but there is food for thought.

As for the length, 2 hours and 40 minutes, i guess is a bit long, but personally, i'm used to that kind of movies now, after LOTR, James Bond, Spiderman etc. Besides if i'm gonna pay 10 bucks to see a movie, then i want it to last longer, instead of watching 80 minutes of some story and then feel robbed by the box office.


Anyways, looking back at the trilogy, i'm grateful to Disney for creating such a movie and then for deciding to turn it into a trilogy. It truly was enjoyable.

Absolutely loved it!!! Depp was just amazing as usual and the time line of the movie didn't bother me at all. I, personally am use to watching 3 hrs movies and the longer the movie the better it is. They can make one more if they want too.

As for Pirates 4, i'm sure that in a few years the fans will want it back and they will come up with something good, whether Keira and Bloom will be there or not, who knows, but we definietly know Johnny is in love with his character and who wouldn't?

They are bringing Die Hard back, so i'm sure that such a money-maker as Pirates will be made in a few years, although not too soon.
