Had you bothered to read the post directly above yours, you would have seen him clearly state that he already has a PES5 PC option file.

So he's obviously working on it, be patient and don't pester him about it.

Version 0.2 is out. It supports PC option files, and the "Save to" option that allows to convert between formats.

Has anyone got the .dll file for this new version only it won't open for me. Also a question for the creator, can you edit players appearence in this version. i.e assign new faces.

Great Stuff

It's only in the early stages yet but this editor can only get better and better if last year's incarnation is anything to go by.

I'm guessing that the kit editing will be a bit of a nightmare this year given the vast number of kit twiddling options. If there's any way the in-game editor can be unlocked for 'official' teams, this would be a bonus in the short term. Wouldn't mind unlocking the PES points either.

Mean time - thanks for the help with the flags & players....

It seems not all players are editable. I mean all of those that are in those teams that are in the Nippon Challenge, I'm talking about WE9 PS2 here. Just curious, can we have more space for flags so that we can put mpre flags in there?

Weirdsville

This is strange. After a feast of editing and saving all my new stuff to the PES5 option file, I find that nothing has stuck. I can't seem to save anything. If I go into the editor and make one minor change and save it, close the editor and reload it, I find that the option file has either reset itself or not been amended at all.

I'm getting no error message and nothing else peculiar is happening - any suggestions?

Is your file by any chance read-only ?

It's the obvious thing - but no, it isn't.

Does the editor prog have to be in the same directory as the option file?

Not at all, of course. What kind of modifications did you make ? Which version of the program are you using and what system are you on ?

Thanks for your interest in this thread.

Here's what I've just tried.

Operating under Win XP Pro (SP2) I've loaded up Ver 0.27 of the editor and selected Arsenal. In the edit box I've changed the abbreviation to PPP and saved it. I've then closed the prog and checked the attributes of my options file and seen that it's been amended - ie the time has changed. I reload the editor and hey presto - Arsenal remain ARS.

I haven't tried this with player stats yet.
