As Seabass has already said he is looking forward to working with the 360 and (when it comes out) the PS3 as the power of these units will mean that all they have wanted to do for years with PES can be done, with the like of AI and graphics and so on ..

But I heard that they are still going to produce a PS2 version, which given the fact that PES5 was not that much of a leap from PES4 (some say a step back in certain areas) I can't see PES6 on the PS2 reaching the supposed heights of the 360 and PS3 version as in AI Animation or anything you care to name, as Seabass and his team take (I hope) full use of the power of 3 core processors (3.2ghz) and these (next-gen) graphics chips ...


But where will that leave the PC version, Will there be a PC version?

And if the answer to that is Yes! Will it be a port of the PS2 version of PES6 or will it be a port of the 360 version.. If it is a port of the 360+PS3 next-gen version , will it only be high-end PC that will be able to run it ???

I should imagine they will port the xbox 360 version , and yes you will need a decent graphics card to play it. But if thats what it takes to make some of you upgrade your ancient FX5200's then so be it.

And before you start , I can run with ease Flight sims like Lock On and Pacific Fighters and the sub sim Silent Hunter3, just finished COD2 and all the smoke and blasts were there and no stutter playing the latest Price of Persia just now all with really good graphics...

The fact that the latest shading on games like BF2 and ones coming out now I admit I will need a newer card for , now my GF4 is 4 years old and its only now that its running up against a problem with the like of BF2.

The bottom line is apart from a handful of games that you could played Maxed out like BF2, the games industry will never catch up with the card makers.

For 90% of the games realeased this coming year and for the next 3 or 4 , cards that were released last year or even the year before that , will run these games, just like mine has and is still doing for the last 4 years !

Ok not at 2,000odds x 2,000odds or everything maxed to the full, but like my card for the last 4 years at a very good to now decent standard ..

Id say for at least 90% of games out now and coming out the card "you" got 12 to 18 months ago will run these games from a decent standard to a very good one depending on the game...

i watched a dutch gameshow yesterday and they said, the ps3 will probably launch winter 2006 in Japan. US will follow shortly and Europe has to wait untill 2007???!!!! :kader:
If this is true, how can sony do something like this?? They will be 1,5years behind the 360 launch.

I cant wait that long, how long will we have to wait untill a pes on the ps3! aargh :nape:

ps3 is due in march in japan. fall release for US.

as of now, xbox360 is getting a port of we9 this spring.

I would expect a real next-gen WE, the PS3 ver. in the summer/fall.

then a 360 port of that ^ to follow in winter.

Picked up ESPN MLS Extra Time 2002 as it works on the Xbox360. Great fun to play multiplayer with your friends although agianst the CPU it seems a little basic now. Was based on the WE5/PES engine. You can get it on eBay for about $8.

Will keep me going until WE9:I comes out!

Ok, to warn you up front, I use the same move repeatedly and basically suck but if you want a good kneecap kicking then go ahead.

Love the game though, graphics on it are amazing.

The game is addicting. I am a huge Tekken fan that can't afford to goto the arcade every week, so it's awesome to have a fighting game of this quality online. I've gotten really good at it.

The expanded areas for fighting are amazing. The chicks are pretty hot too, lol!

Why dont we make a thread on the General Games Discussion to exchange gamertags. It would be much more organize and would keep other thread on topic.

We can give it a name Like SG forum gamer's group and we can have a weekly night where we can joing and play. Like every Tuesday or something.

Thats very unbelievable. I havent seen any official releasedate yet, so how can the ps3 be released in just 2 months.
Do you have a source?

The PS3 is supposed to be released in Japan this Spring - that's been the release target for the last year. Whether or not Sony follow through is a different matter.

I haven't heard anything about a launch title from Konami though for the PS3. I would have thought they would stick to their normal timeline as August really isn't that far away.

well im not holding my breath for a decent copy of we10/pes6 on xbox360 - it will b a conversion of the ps2 version anyway - once the ps3 is out x360 owners will get a port of the ps3 version instead - same as always from seabass the sony fanboy!

i love microsoft i have xbox 360 right now.
both are great and we series will always be the best series regardless the platform that game ported from.

Not at all am i a m$ fanboy, Neither am i a sonyfanboy - i will be buying the ps3 and i have an xbox 360 - as i had a ps2 and xbox, but the fact remains that every pes that come out has been a sony port - thats on xbox, pc and even gamecube (and soon to be x360) I cant see anything changing -
