PES6 + PS2 Controller = Marseilles Turn

Just started to play PES6 with a USB converter for a PS2 controller, but one BIG problem: when I try to control a player to change direction or stop when dashing, the player will perform a Marseilles turn instead! This is a real trouble! Anyone with the same experience may share your tips here? Thanks!

You have to make sure that the analog-mode of the controller is working.
without using the analog-mode, sometimes the players will do the Marseilles turn...

yer you need to press select and turn analogue on otherwise they do it by themselves... don't know about your problem though, maybe try button config or something see if you've set it right

Some times those adaptors wont work properly, go get one of those ps2-like Logitech gamepads, they are compatible with PES games.

I've never known a USB adapter for PS2 joypads that didn't convert properly. Just use the settings.exe program to set your buttons correctly with analog on.
