Try this when you are one and one with the goolie:

Suddenly after you press the shot button (square), press O and you will make a slight shoot feint before kicking.

Or press R2 while you are shooting, and the shot will tend to be more precise...

Thanks for the info, but playing with a keyboard and taking into consideration the time I need to react to actually pull it off, I find it easier now to attempt to dribble the goalkeeper which on most occasions works.

The shooting is harder. I myself ballon the ball over the goal sometimes. But then suddenly I discovered that if I press R2 down while I am shooting, the shot will be lower and more precise!!!

In that case, why we do need a shooting bar?
What exactly this bar affect? Or it was made just for fun PES6?
In pes5 shooting bar was logical, cause if u wanna strike the bal – u do it according to the power on the bar. If u wanna accuracy - press R2 and player shoot the ball with less power (inner part of foot), but more precise.

I'm still playing both of them. PES6 is better, PES5 more fun.

I'm playing PES5 with Leo's Legend Patch in combination with Kronos' Fifa Commentary and that combination makes it a little more different from PES6.

But like i said i like them both.

I think for me the main problem is that pes3 4 5 6 feels the same in term of graphics and sound. I am kinda bored of the same stuff over and over. I wish some new developers could bring some competition into the Konami/EA duopoly. I wish 2k sport or Ubisoft could enter the business, I mean we keep getting ripped off by 10 editions of fifa and PES a year.
