PES5 vs PES6

Hi,

I am getting well frustrated with this game - I considered myself pretty good at Pes5 but since I have started playing pes6 I cant shoot for toffee none of my players seem to flow at all- it all seems very jerky and uncontrollable. I cant select my players either that easily - even when I have the cursor on manual.

The game feels much slower - and the shooting OMG what a joke I just seem to balloon it over the bar most times even when I only press the button for a micro second.

Any thoughts / comments / feedback before I throw this game out of the window as I am not enjoying it at all TBH.

Adapt or perish. Learn how to play the game well, because the problem isn't in the game but in how you play it.

However the AI is a bit annoying at times.

For once i agree with Mouta. The more i play PES 6 the more i get the feeling of a really good game...of course there is space for improvement... :-paul: :mrpimp:

I feel the same way too. I feel that PES5 is better because I could play some really nice football. With this game, it's more difficult. Why? Because the shooting from inside the penalty box SUCKS, and I think that the feeling of the players you had with PES5 is lost, or at least weakened. It feels more and more like playing FIFA. In PES5, I was pleased when I could pass the ball smoothly and quickly between my players. Now, I just don't feel that. Although, I do feel that PES6 resembles more to real-life football, there are still some flaws that keep it from truly shining.

PES 6 > PES 5

however, some pb i noticed on PES6:

- Goalkeeper sucks some times (i scored a 35 meter freekick, Casillas just had to raise his arms, but didn't touch the ball), and too good other times. Still more "realistic" than in PES5
- Some red cards are shameful. Still more realistic than in PES 5 (A LOOOoooooot)
- walls already done on quick freekick.
- hmmm can't see other thing for the time being <_<

I like more the PES6 shooting system, last year we had some weird goals and too many from outside box, one thing i don't like is how difficult is to score one on one with a direct shot, people do fake shot all the time.

It's extremely difficult to score with a direct shot on one-on-one's. And it's also extremely annoying when you tap the shoot button and the player sends the ball to Mars from within the goalkeeper area.

But the shooting is better, because in PES5 the players just tap it in or blast it in the corner.

Its way better than pes5 although a tad slower,which can be a good thing or a bad thing(varies from gamer to gamer). I actually find it easier to score on this game both in n out of the box.Just b patient n practice man.. THE BEST MAKE THE HARDEST THINGS SEEM EASY!

Cant really tell why but the game feels much better...the only thing that is repeating itself from game to game is the fact that i win cause im that good at PES 6... :lui: (C)

i prefer 5, admitedly im dismally poor on pes 6 but i feel that 5 was all-round a better game with smoother passing and shooting. pes6 does show keeper improvements altho the AI is shocking with them sometimes. shooting is dreadful altho when u produce good goals it does give a far greater sense of pride, like yesterday i played me mate Man Utd vs Chelsea, and i scored a 35 - 40 yard giggs screamer after running from the edge of me own box (orgasmic).

but yeah as i was saying 5 is undoubtably a better game, it was more or less flawless and i feel pes6 is a bit of a let down with the number of glitches n problems u face, but hey, lets hope next year they develop it further n make 1 super sexy niggalicious game :amika:

PES6 is definitely better than PES5. I pity the people that aren't open to privileges such as juce's works by having PES6 and the likes of Merseyside Red on PS2...

pes6 is "better" because it's new, and pes5 is boring already
but pes6 actually is frustrating and awful game
it's a slow boring game, with awful control and passes

for me playing against the computer is very frustrating and boring
after a few mins i feel like blowing up the PC so i immediately quit the game

i'm very disappointed, what will i play now in the entire year? :(

Well my reply should say it all really lol, I went from pes4 to pes6. Pes 6 is the closest to real football you can get, i love the new gameplay and only glitches should be fixed and go on this road, it hit the spot.

in the begining i sucked alot at it too, now im getting better and better, it really is a fast game, you just have to play football :)
