Pes5 one year on and still playing!

So after nearly a year I am wondering how many pes players are like me. I have tried hard to play this game and to be honest I have learned lots of new tricks and skills and my reaction time has improved.

I have played the game on all levels and ended up sticking with 5*. Most of my games still finish W1-0, L0-1, and D 0-0. I can score one or two more goals on lower levels but I keep it on 5* to even it up. I have enjoyed the game and its credit to Konami that I still play it.

I just hope pes6 will be a bit more forgiving and goals easier to come by. I don’t even mind AI scripted goals as long as I can have the chance of scoring a few more.

My biggest issue with pes5 is the number of fouls that the AI commit without being punished and it doesn’t help the flow of my game when I need all the help I can get.

I won’t be playing fifa07 as the demo was poor after playing pes5. So come on Konami and make pes6 the best yet, please!

i've been playing it for a year too. usually only one game a day, or two, but 20 minutes. i play on 6 stars, and the results vary alot, although im winning most of the matches.
cant wait for PES6 :).

I still play PES5... mostly when my brother comes round... or any of the lads from work... we sit down and do some 1vs1 or 2vs2 then go 4vsComp... pretty funny when all for people take a defender and run upfront with them lol.

But yeah i carnt wait for PES6... im hoping for a bigger change than there was between PES4 and PES5.

yonyonyon, Obviously, it hasn't clicked with me or my mates cause they can't score many in a game either. Wish I knew your secret

PES5 is great but it is too defensive. For me it is the PES that I liked the least. I just hope the game will be a little more open in PES6 :jambo:

still playing it , though after a year its getting a bit boring as I think Ive seen all there is to see in the game. As I have always said , PES is the best but it has its flaws and after a year of play they start getting to you...

I hope next years PES has manual passing ok before you all jump in I know there is a manual pass button. Being right handed I use my thumb for pressing the buttons and my index finger is on the shoulder sprint button with the other 2 and pinky wrapped round the handle of my Logitech Remote Rumble pad. To play the manual pass I have to twist my wrist while using my button thumb on the right analog stick and and my index finger to try and press the manual pass button... What I want to see it the B button the "normal" pass button in PES used for manual passes no more "controlled" passes. This would free the game up and you would pass the where you want and not as it is at the moment between 1 or 2 players you are facing or as it is near the penalty box, the one the cpu wants you to pass to ...

Still playing it, on 6 stars. Created Southampton on the Master League, looked out for their real players (found some, like Rasiak, B.W. Phillips, Ostlund), got some guys that had played for them (Lundevkam, for instance), put Theo Walcott in there and that was it. I'm on the second season, 12 games into the league with 11 wins and a defeat. Won 11 straight games and then Chelsea put me back to earth with a 4-0 win at the Bridge.

Some great fun though, pisses me off to lose but on the bright side, i'm glad that the game still gives me a challenge once in a while.
