PES4 stats related with FM2005 characters 1 by 1,IMO

Two alternatives for Attack/defense value:

1. KONAMI's style, attack/defense SHOULD be relative to players' favorite positions, that's to say, FW's defense is relative lower than other positions and CBT's defense is relative higher.

2.CM's style, they are both described by such unified attributes as 'positioning','off the ball','marking',etc. Then a great DMF (like Makelele, 90) will be better in defense than a good CBT (like Hyypia, 85). And many CBTs' offensive value is in a higher level than KONAMI settings (like Terry, 65).

I prefer to CM style. It's more realistic. Attack/defense is independent to positions.

Your opinion? Discussion makes best choice.

v0.8.2 released.

Main improvements and changes since last released version v0.7.3d:

1.Use PES_AVG and CM_AVG from statics to fill the mathematic formula.
PES_AVGs are from anonymous WE8AbilityStats.xls and nick0s' great help. CM_AVGs is from FMScout export results.
So almost everything is changed but only a little in scale meaning. The scale is almost the same as KONAMI stats now.

2.'Zero' values in CM are calculated specially. The results are better than the last version IMO. Now the 'un-wel-known' players such as Glen Johnsen, Oleguer, Guerrero are playable.

3.'Work rate tune down' will not make Pace 19 slower than 18, but will make two players with Pace 19 have different top speed according to their specific work rate.

And there're maybe other changes I don't remember clearly. I'll write a detailed document on this engine. Just wait if you're interested.

Known probs:
1.'Jump' ability are not related to player's height ('aggression' instead) because SDK provide no height.
2.Some 'zero' players will have just the same stats, because I can't get player unique ID from SDK as random seed.

To use the convertion DLL, refer to Yannick instruction. Thanks for the SDK version which ease me from testing and release him from being disturbed so much.

Any recommends are welcome.

according to KONAMI's stats, it is clear that they focus BALANCE on a player's "toughness", meaning their physical strength.
if you take a look at the players with high BALANCE, they are mostly CBs, GKs, and the big CFs, and maybe some DMFs as well.

as PACE relates more to a player's top speed, i strongly feel that ACCELERATION is more appropriate when it comes to dribbling.
when i used to play FM, i also looked out for dribblers with good technique and acceleration before asking them to run with ball.

it may seem like a very simple formula, but the results look more realistic IMO.
also, Beckham now gets a higher CURLING value than D'Alessandro.
take a look at some of the examples below..

A.D'Alessandro: 95 => 96
A.Recoba: 89 => 94
C.Rahn: 80 => 91
D.Beckham: 93 => 99
D.Fletcher: 84 => 78
G.Neville: 70 => 62
H.Larsson: 80 => 72
I.Harte: 79 => 91
L.Robert: 88 => 96
R.Carlos: 82 => 88
S.Eto'o: 81 => 73

Those stats are much better m8! How would I implement this??
